Synopsis
Set in the 1940s, 'Five Guys Named Moe' follows the story of Nomax, a down-on-his-luck man who is drowning his sorrows in alcohol after a breakup. As he listens to the radio, five lively and charismatic singers—Big Moe, Little Moe, Eat Moe, No Moe, and Four-Eyed Moe—magically emerge from his radio to help him get his life back on track. Through a series of high-energy musical numbers featuring the songs of jazz legend Louis Jordan, the Moes offer Nomax advice on love, life, and self-respect. The show is a celebration of music, friendship, and redemption, filled with humor, heart, and toe-tapping tunes. By the end, Nomax learns valuable lessons about taking responsibility for his actions and embracing the joy in life.
