Synopsis

Funny Girl tells the story of Fanny Brice, a talented and unconventional young woman who rises from humble beginnings in New York's Lower East Side to become one of Broadway's biggest stars during the Ziegfeld Follies era. Despite her professional success, Fanny's personal life is fraught with challenges, particularly her tumultuous relationship with gambler Nick Arnstein.
