Synopsis

Into the Woods intertwines the plots of several Brothers Grimm fairy tales, exploring the consequences of the characters' wishes and quests. The story follows a Baker and his Wife who wish to have a child, Cinderella who wishes to attend the King's Festival, and Jack who wishes his cow would give milk. Their lives become entangled with Little Red Ridinghood, Rapunzel, and other classic characters as they venture into the woods to fulfill their dreams. However, their wishes come with unforeseen consequences, and the second act delves into the darker repercussions of their actions. Ultimately, the musical explores themes of community, responsibility, and the complexities of human desires.
