Synopsis
Set in Salem, Massachusetts during the late 17th century, 'The Crucible' explores the hysteria and paranoia surrounding the infamous Salem witch trials. The story follows John Proctor, a farmer who becomes entangled in the trials when his former lover, Abigail Williams, accuses his wife, Elizabeth, of witchcraft.
