Synopsis

Based on S.E. Hinton's classic novel, 'The Outsiders' follows the lives of two rival teenage groups in 1960s Oklahoma: the working-class Greasers and the affluent Socs. The story centers on Ponyboy Curtis, a thoughtful and sensitive Greaser, and his struggles with identity, loyalty, and the harsh realities of class conflict. When a violent altercation leads to a tragic death, Ponyboy and his friend Johnny Cade are forced to go on the run, setting off a chain of events that will change their lives forever. Through themes of friendship, loss, and redemption, 'The Outsiders' explores the bonds that unite us and the divisions that tear us apart, all underscored by a powerful and emotional score.
