Synopsis
Waitress tells the story of Jenna Hunterson, a talented pie-maker stuck in an unhappy marriage in a small town. Jenna works at a local diner and dreams of escaping her life through her passion for baking. When she unexpectedly becomes pregnant, she enters a pie-baking contest with hopes of winning the prize money to start a new life. Along the way, Jenna navigates her relationships with her coworkers, her doctor, and her husband, ultimately discovering her own strength and independence.
