Inspirations Theatre Company is a multi-award winning amateur drama group for all ages from 6 years to adults. Most recently we were nominated for and WON best production in our East Midlands District for the latest version of Les Misérables School Edition we staged! Not only that but our Jean Val Jean and Javert actors were BOTH nominated for Outstanding Performances with the former bringing this second award home to Inspirations! This also comes after our previous years production of Disney's Aladdin Jr. also WON best production as well! We specialise in producing musical shows and concerts in venues across our region with all three performance disciplines (acting, singing, dancing) covered at a level where everyone can be involved thanks to our fantastic, volunteer teachers who each specialise in a specific performance area. All teachers have Advanced DBS Checks and hold Chaperone Licenses as officially trained Derbyshire County Council Representatives. Inspirations also have strict COVID-19, Safeguarding, Equality and Health & Safety policies in place for you/your child's safety. Inspirations offers age specific shows to help develop performance skills and build confidence, in a safe environment where new friends who share interests can be made.
