THE LEADING AMDRAM GROUP IN STEVENAGE SINCE 1948 The Lytton Players specialise in both Musical Theatre and Drama Productions in our own theatre. We also have our Lytton Youth Theatre, which caters for younger age groups comprising Reception age to 18 years old. In addition there are ample opportunities for members and patrons to participate in the Players' activities in an 'offstage' role, be it backstage, social, or helping with the administration of the Players' affairs. Our base is at The Lytton Theatre in Stevenage (aka The Sishes), which is used for rehearsals, performances and social events. The Lytton Theatre has a studio rehearsal room plus a stage and auditorium with seating for about 80. The workshop, wardrobe and properties store are well equipped and enable preparation and storage of the Player's sets and costumes. There is also a large licensed bar with its own lounge providing welcome refreshments for thirsty members and audiences. he premises are available for hire for social functions or group activities. Costumes and Properties are also available for hire.
