The Young Theatre Company is one of the UK’s largest and most established youth theatres, based at The Acorn Theatre in Worksop, Nottinghamshire. Established over 30 years ago, we offer affordable, accessible weekly theatre classes for ages 4 to 18+, combining acting, singing and dance in a fast-moving, fun-filled hour. Led by highly experienced professionals, students of all abilities build confidence and performance skills while working towards professionally staged productions on a real theatre stage. Alongside our weekly classes, we run popular summer schools and work with many schools to deliver exciting “show in a week” musical theatre workshops.
